This lecture covers contracting basics and gives entrepreneurs a primer on what to look for when a contract is presented to them and what to think about when designing their own.

In this session, participants will learn:

  • What is a contract?
  • What makes a contract enforceable (or unenforceable)?
  • Contracting vocabulary
  • What should I look when reading common commercial contracts?
  • How can I limit my company’s liability?
  • How do I use contracts online?
