An introduction to Indigenous Identity as it has been shaped throughout Canada’s history.

About this Event

What does it mean to be Indigenous today? How and why were the Treaties formed and are they still valid today? What legislations direct Indigenous rights? Can you challenge Inherent Rights and, if so, how? This workshop will highlight major historical events since European contact that have had major impacts on Canada’s Indigenous Peoples. Youth and adult audiences.
