Overview

Make a fun puppet out of cardboard, fabrics and inexpensive materials with others in relaxed, supportive sessions. Drop-in/No need to book.

A few of us have been meeting regularly to create fabulous puppets from cardboard, fabrics and inexpensive materials. As we make, we’re developing our ideas towards performing a relaxed performance (a happening!) at this year’s Abbeyfield Community Festival (Saturday 12th July).

If you’d like to make a puppet (or get involved in another way), come along! Don’t worry if you’ve never made a puppet before; it’s a joyous process, and there’s lots of help at hand.

Younger makers are welcome if accompanied.

Lots of basic materials and tools available, but please bring along anything in particular (or costly) that you’d like to work with and ideally share.

Any questions? Get in touch.

Pay-as-you-like: to cover costs (glue sticks, tape, paints, etc.)

More dates to follow….Keep playing!
