REAP's 7th annual Food For Thought
Event Information
Description
ONLINE TICKET SALES HAVE NOW ENDED, BUT YOU CAN STILL GET TICKETS AT THE DOOR.
Food For Thought is a feast for the senses. Taste the local difference at 22 food and beverage sampling stations and learn directly from chefs and farmers about why local food and sustainable growing practices make a difference to your health, the planet and the local economy.
This is a family-friendly event! Kids aged 3-12 will enjoy activities by Poppy Innovations, Grow Calgary, Open Streets, and Wee Wild Ones, that get them familiar and excited about eating nutritious, whole foods! Aaron Young will inspire us with his voice and guitar throughout the afternoon.
Need a rest from all of the eating and drinking? Relax in one of our mini living rooms, sponsored by ATB Financial, where you can chill for a few moments while you watch some of our favourite videos about the region's best food businesses. You'll feel right at home!
