About this Event
Joining Recipe For Change late or missed an event you were looking forward to? Don’t worry - we’ll be sending a roundup of our daily videos and event recordings at the end of the week, so you can catch up on all the action.
-----
Our annual fundraiser looks a little different this year but the ingredients are the same: come together, have fun, champion the right to food in our city and raise funds for FoodShare to continue our work here in Toronto.
From the comfort of your home, join us for Recipe for Change: a week of virtual tours with a behind- the-scenes look at our programs accompanied by FoodShare staff.
See how the urban agriculture team works with youth on organic city farms growing food, confidence and leadership.
Visit community-led Good Food Markets that connect neighbours and feed community spirit.
Sneak inside the FoodShare warehouse where the team boosted the number of Good Food Boxes from 200 to more than 2,000 boxes of fresh produce delivered every week in response to the pandemic.
We’ll wrap up the week with a live panel discussion, where folks in the food system, and you the audience, will have a chance to share with elected officials, “What does the right to food look like?”
One ticket gets you everything:
* 7 day silent auction (Feb.19-26)
* Exclusive first look at our virtual site tours (Feb.22-25)
* Q&As and workshops with our incredible team (gardens! compost! markets! cooking! and more) (Feb.22-25)
