Babashasha is a DJ, event curator, and musical storyteller based on Turtle Island. His sets move seamlessly across genres and BPMs, blending deep bass, hypnotic grooves, and soulful vocals into an evolving dancefloor journey. Through live stem remixing, he reshapes tracks in real time, keeping every moment dynamic, responsive, and alive.

As the founder & Host of Roots & Rhthym alongside co-host Skyseed, at The Beaumont Studios in Vancouver, Babashasha is deeply rooted in cultivating conscious dance spaces centered on connection, presence, and community. His work extends beyond the decks — creating environments where music becomes ritual and the dancefloor becomes a shared space for expression.

For this event, Babashasha will be opening the night and later performing a special B2B DJ set with Skyseed, weaving together hip-hop, bass, and conscious club energy into a cohesive, high-vibe journey.

Skyseed is a DJ, MC, and bass-driven hip-hop artist blending conscious lyricism with west-coast groove and dancefloor energy. His sound sits at the crossroads of storytelling and vibration — heavy bass, tight rhythms, and heartfelt presence designed to move both the body and the mind.

A co-host of Roots & Rhythm alongside Babashasha, Skyseed is deeply rooted in community-driven events and conscious dance culture. Together, they curate spaces that bring intention, rhythm, and connection to the floor — beyond just a party, into a shared experience.

At this event, Skyseed will be performing a special B2B DJ set with Babashasha, weaving hip-hop, bass music, and conscious club energy into a seamless, high-vibe journey for the night.

To close the evening, we’ll settle into a short guided sound healing meditation — a space to integrate, relax, and restore, supporting calm, release, and mental clarity.
