Do you have to row to come to the event?

NO! If you are keen to see some stellar performances, but would rather not have to choose between clapping and rowing, General Admission is by donation! You can come and enjoy the show, minus the row!

I don't have a team, but I want to row, can I still participate?

YES! Just e-mail catherinethoekstra@gmail.com before you buy your ticket and I will put you on a team list and reserve a ticket. When there's enough folks for a team, I will put everyone in contact!

Is the space accessible?

YES* There is a small threshold on the side door, but we have a bay door that can be opened if needed. There is a ramp that leads into the main space.

Roweokeathon 2026

The Roweokeathon is an event that combines fitness and theatre in the form of a team-based marathon row and a variety show!

Date: Saturday February 7th 2026

Time: 5-9pm

Location: 5687 West St. Kjipuktuk (Halifax) "North Endurance"

Front ROW Seats: 100$ per team of 6, with a MAX of 10 teams.

General Admission by Donation

Last year we sold out of rowers, and raised 3200$ for Out of the Cold. This year, we are fundraising for The Elizabeth Fry Society of Maniland Nova Scotia

Get with it kids.

Please note this event will be loud, between the constant whirring of 10 rowers and the music/acts attempting to cover it up. Please wear ear protection if needed. Also be aware there will be light blackouts and flashing lights. *
