Overview

Make a videogame solo or with a team over the weekend. Eat pizza, win prizes, make friends & learn new skills!

It's game jam time! Create a video or board game based on a specific theme within 48 hours - with a team, or solo.


This event will be held IN-PERSON at

3rd floor Spinks Computer Lab, Thorvaldson building, University of Saskatchewan

110 Science Pl, Saskatoon, SK S7N 5C8


It's FREE if you're a student ANYWHERE. $10 registration fee for non-students to cover prizes and two pizza lunches (Saturday 12pm, Sunday 12pm). If you have dietary restrictions, email me.


If you don't have a computer to bring, the Usask Computer Science department have generously supplied FREE use of lab computers. FREE wifi is also available. USB game controllers will also be available for use (but not to take home).

20:30 onwards - Teams start jamming

07:00 - Doors unlocked (don't come before this)

12:00 - Pizza lunch and presentation


Sunday Feb 1

07:00 - Doors unlocked (don't come before this)

12:00 - Pizza lunch and presentation

16:00 - TEST YOUR BUILDS, write entry pages for http://itch.io website, create and upload trailers

17:00 - JAM IS DONE! Play each other's games, give feedback. Please invite friends + family to try out all the games

18:30 - Awards ceremony, give out prizes!
