Shakespeare, Off the Ruff

Shakespeare, Off the Ruff

By Montreal Improv

Overview

Prepare yourselves for the ultimate Shakespearience!

In Tudor England Many years afore
There liv’d a playwright of deserved fame
from forth his quill did timeless classics pour
And now a new production in his name

The Sixteenth Night, the First month of the Year
Five Improvisors will ascend the stage
And as the gracious public lends an ear
They will, to the bard’s record, add a page

Fair public, prepare yourselves for the ultimate Shakespearience - a full-length play crafted before your very eyes!

You will think yourselves transported to the Globe Theatre as these five lords and ladies of misrule grace the stage to speak words trippingly on the tongue. Mirth and merriment will abound! Star-cross'd lovers, powerful queens, tragically flawed heroes and more personages may be dreamt of in their philosophies.

A comedy - or tragedy - of errors awaits. Give us your hands if we be friends!
