Sharing Islam (Webinar for Students and Employees)

This workshop is an online event. The Zoom link will be provided upon registration.

Join Shahin Pardhan for a thoughtful session as we explore the key aspects of Islamic faith and gain insight into the lived experiences of the Muslim community. Topics will include prayer, fasting, pilgrimages, dress, holidays, dietary guidelines, and investment rules, all aimed at fostering awareness and understanding. The interactive presentation will also share personal stories of microaggressions and experiences with Islamophobia, with the goal of promoting a more inclusive environment.



Speaker bio: Shahin Pardhan is an Assistant Professor at Huron University and teaches Islam in the Workplace MOS 2222. She has also been the Muslim representative at the London Interfaith Peace Camp for the past 12 years and is a member of the Mayoral Muslim Advisory Circle.
