Sip n' Ride Train Excursion to Detention Brewery

Escape the city's hustle and bustle and gather your friends for a delightful train journey from Forestburg to the charming town of Rosalind, AB. Your destination is The Detention Brewery, located in the former Rosalind School. Enjoy an engaging brewery tour along with a light lunch paired with a pint of their finest brews. This excursion promises to create lasting memories filled with laughter, camaraderie, and perhaps a touch of nostalgia for school days gone by.

Ticket includes round trip train ride, Brewery tour, light lunch and pint of beer.

**There is a 15 minute walk between the train and brewery. Guests have to be able to walk this distance.**

The Detention Brewing Company is a family owned Brewery located along our Battle River Railroad track in the quaint little village of Rosalind with a population of 188.

Train Departure Location

Board the train in Forestburg at 1:00 pm; Arrive in Rosalind by 2:30pm.

Take a walk down main street Rosalind to the Detention Brewery. Get a tour of the brewery, a light lunch and a pint of beer.

Please note that we do not serve alcoholic beverages on the train.

Departure location is Forestburg. Please be in at the Station 30-45 minutes prior to the train departure. You can park along the street in front of the Station, or in the parking lot to the west of the Station. We ask that guests leave parking spaces do not park directly in front of Moore's Shop Easy as the store will be open and these are for their customers.

Growlers, Pints, Off sales and Detention Brewery Clothing merchandise available for sale at the brewery. As well, we have train related souvenirs available for purchase on the train.

So, come out and enjoy the afternoon with us Saturday, May 18th, for the May Long Weekend. We depart from Rosalind for our return trip back to Forestburg by 5:30 to get into Forestburg by 7:00 pm.
