SKILLXCHANGE: GOAL SETTING THROUGH VISION BOARDS

CAREER DEVELOPMENT

ZOOM VIDEO CONFERENCE SESSION - (Link will be sent via email to all participants)

Description:

Creating your personal Vision Board is more than just cutting pages from a newspaper/magazine. It's about mirroring the future, getting clear on your goals, and then connecting with them to design a vision that embodies your calling. The power of visualization has proven to make a noticeable difference in the choices people make in their lives which in turn leads them to live their best life.

If you have no idea where to start, this workshop is perfect for you! I made my first ever vision board two years ago in one of my AHSC classes at Concordia and it has been transformative. This workshop will provide you the space you need to intentionally define your goals through hands-on reflective exercises. It will also provide you practical tips and digital tools to create a Vision Board to give you an idea of where you are heading.

Here is what you will learn:

  • To use your intuition and self-reflection to gain clarity on your goals
  • The Law of Attraction and how to apply its principles for better results
  • Practical tips to create a powerful Vision Board

Here is what you will need:

  • Notebook & pen and/or other medium to be able to reflect .
  • Your laptop to be able to search for images/phrases that should represent your dreams, your goals, and your ideal life.

Facilitator: Salma Adem, 4th year undergrad student in BA Human Relations & FutureReady Program Assistant
