Born and raised in Toronto, Small Dog Barking (or Sean if you'd prefer) first picked up the guitar when he was 11. He promptly quit after a month because it was too hard and hurt his fingers. Two years later, picked it back up, and luckily, he did not quit again. Since then, he has played on a myriad of stages across Ontario, and has released two EPs, Subwoofer in 2019, and Underdog in 2022. The music of Small Dog Barking is characterized by its story driven, charming, and honest lyrics. His greatest inspiration comes from the personal connections in his life, as he integrates the narratives of his friends and loved ones into his music.
