Create a beautiful flower arrangement and celebrate well-being through the art of ikebana. Instructor Yoko Masuda will help you embrace the beauty of flowers while learning the fundamental principles of the Sogetsu school of ikebana. This workshop is designed to be an enjoyable activity for two people. This program is presented in English and Japanese.

この生け花ワークショップは、お子様から大人まで、一緒になって生け花を通じ一期一会を楽しんでいただけたらと考えています。お一人でも、大人同士でもお気軽にご参加ください。

Sogetsu Ikebana

Sogetsu ikebana considers "space" in the making of arrangements. This refers to within ikebana as well as the physical place in which the arrangement occupies. This workshop focuses on table top arrangements. It’s the time of celebration season so let's add to the celebration with a beautiful floral arrangement.

About the Instructor

Yoko Masuda is a certified teacher of Sogetsu, one of the top three biggest schools of ikebana in Japan. She has studied Sogetsu for the past 10 years and continues her journey today. Yoko loves sharing her passion for ikebana and hopes to empower other people to find their own self in the art.
