Somatic Practice: Welcoming in Joy
Overview
As the new year emerges—growing in light and energy—we are invited to expand with it. The change of year represents intention, growth, and vitality—an energetic build toward fullness. This practice will use movement, breath, and mindful presence to align with that rising energy and open space for joy to flow in.
Led by Laura Kieley, founder of The Practice, this 90-minute somatic-based session blends mindful movement, embodied awareness, and nervous system regulation to help you reconnect with your natural rhythm. You’ll move gently, intentionally, and playfully—allowing joy to arise from within rather than something to chase.
Expect:
🌕 Somatic movement and rhythmic flow to restore balance and vitality
💛 Breathwork and mindfulness to anchor joy and curiosity
🎶 Music that inspires movement and emotional release
🧘♀️ Restorative integration to ground your energy
This practice welcomes all bodies and experiences. It’s not about doing it “right,” but about feeling into what’s real and letting your body lead.
Who It’s For:
Anyone craving lightness, connection, or renewal. Perfect for those wanting to shift stagnant energy, rekindle joy, and align with the upward pull toward expansion.
