Learn the art of Moko Jumbie stilt walking in a safe, supportive beginner class focused on confidence, culture, and joy!
What We’re Offering
This beginner 2 hour class is an introduction to Moko Jumbie stilt walking for those with no prior experience. Participants will learn foundational skills while being introduced to the cultural context and care practices that surround the tradition.
The class emphasizes:
- Safety and proper technique
- Balance and body awareness
- Confidence-building through movement
- Respect for cultural tradition
All equipment is provided, and instruction is paced slowly to meet participants where they are. *Note: confortable shoes and waterbootle are needed
