    About this event

    In this NEW three-part series, you will learn how stories work and how to use them in the most effective way. From the foundational principles of storytelling, to crafting strategic stories, to how to disseminate stories in all platforms. In this practical workshop series, you’ll learn and apply the skills to create stories that drive action.

    Please note that you must be affiliated with a registered charity or nonprofit to attend this workshop series. It is highly recommended that you attend all three sessions. Please register for each individual session, as each session will have a different Zoom link. If you are not be able to make all three workshops, please watch the recorded session you missed and complete the work from that session.

    February 9 - Module 1 – Storytelling Principles

    In this session you’ll learn how storytelling works and how to shape your stories for impact and action. We’ll also cover the different types of stories you can tell depending on the audience and the goals you have.

    February 23 - Module 2 – Story Strategy

    In this session we’ll cover the importance of understanding your audience to create effective stories and you’ll learn how to find out your audience’s needs and desires. You’ll also learn the blueprint for effective stories and how to select the right story for relevance and impact.

    March 9 - Module 3 – Story strengthening and sharing

    Now that you have your story, how do you spread it? In this session you’ll learn how to tell your story in different formats and platforms. We’ll also share interview skills and other tips and resources to create effective stories.
