Storybook Breakfast 2026

Join Kids Can Fly at our annual Storybook Breakfast fundraiser Saturday February7, 2026.

Enjoy a tasty breakfast surrounded by our storybook character volunteers at the lovely TownePlace Suites at 30 Fen Ridge Court all to help us raise funds for Kids Can Fly programs in our community

Each seating will last for 1.5 hours to give everyone lots of time with characters and to eat.

This year's event features an enhanced buffet including our traditional pancakes and sausage, along with the addition of bacon and scrambled eggs!

This event is ideal for children ages 2 - 8, but younger and older children are more than welcome to join in the fun!

Features of the event:

• Guests will be ushered to their assigned table by characters in costume. Seats will be at a beautifully decorated table with a storybook theme.
• There will be music playing but announcements are kept to a minimum
• Once seated, guests can choose to relax and look around, colour using the placemats, or get up and enjoy the buffet and Imagination Stations at their convenience.
• Dozens of our wonderful volunteers will be dressed as storybook characters to interact with you and your family at your table as well as at photo backdrop stations throughout the room. Your child will receive an autograph book at check-in that our characters will be delighted to sign for them.
• Families are welcome to take photos with any of our character volunteers. We also have professional photographers on site at our designated Photo Station in the lobby. Here one of our larger furry characters will pose with each child for a professional photo keepsake that will be printed on site for you to take home.
• On your way out, each child who had a ticket will receive a bag that includes their very own storybook!

If you would like to sit with friends or family, we strongly recommend buying your tickets all together in one transaction. Seating requests can also be made at the time of ticket purchase, but you must let us know in advance if you'd like to join friends and family!

ALL guests must have Eventbrite tickets to attend.

Please note that, due to fire safety regulations, strollers or wagons are NOT permitted in the building and should be left in your vehicle.
