Storytime at the Opera
Overview
Cozy up for a magical morning of music, storytelling, and imagination.
Storytime at the Opera invites little ones (ages 5 and under) and their caregivers into a playful, welcoming space where books and music come together. This special holiday edition features a gentle reading of Jan Brett’s The Mitten, brought to life with expressive music, movement, and opportunities for young listeners to explore sound, rhythm, and storytelling.
Designed with early childhood development in mind, the session encourages curiosity, creativity, and connection in a relaxed, cushion-friendly environment. Families are welcome to sit close, move around, and enjoy the performance in whatever way feels natural for their child.
This free 45-minute program is a wonderful introduction to the world of opera and live performance—made engaging, interactive, and age-appropriate for even the youngest audience members.
Free to attend. Space is limited—please reserve your spot.
