Summer Camp at St Mary Magdalene, Toronto
Event Information
Description
Join us at the Church of St Mary Magdalene for Summer Camp!
Children 4-12 are invited to join us the last week of summer - Monday, 27 August, to Friday, 31 August, from 9.00am to 4.30pm. Before and aftercare will be provided at no extra cost.
Our theme for this year is Babylon - Daniel's courage in Captivity.
We will spend the morning time-travelling to ancient Mesopotamia to learn how Daniel and his friends were able to hold firm to their faith even in the face of hostility. The morning camp will feature rotating stations which include drama, crafts, games and lots of interactive fun.
In the afternoons we will go out of doors and explore our own city. Trips include a visit to the Aga Khan or Royal Ontario Museum, the planetarium, and Allan Gardens. Other afternoon activities will include trips to the park, large outdoor group games, and more!
Children should pack a lunch and a bathing suit as there is a wading pool close to the church.
Cost is $125. There is no additional fee for before or after camp care which runs from 8:30am and goes until 5:30pm.
Financial assistance can be provided. Please contact the Parish Administrator for more information at office@stmarymagdalene.ca
