Retreat Facilitator
Sierra Day is a Culinary Nutritionist and seasoned yogini with 16 years of experience. Trained in India, the Canary Islands, and Canada, she is a certified yoga instructor in Hatha, Vinyasa, Aerial Yoga and Yoga Nidra as well as a certified mat Pilates instructor (PMI).
Sierra has over 17 years of experience in the culinary industry, working at a variety of roles at numerous restaurants, and most recently developed the menu for Impact Kitchen, a local health food chain.
Equipped with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Nutrition and Food, and a Certificate in Culinary Arts, she runs Toronto Island Oasis, an open-air yoga centre offering enriching classes, retreats, rentals and catering to the local community.

How do you want to get there?
Arrival
Short guided walk to Toronto Island Oasis from Wards Island ferry dock. Guests will be welcomed with a selection of light foods and beverages.
Welcome Circle
Guests will gather in a welcoming circle to connect and set intentions for the day. From there we will transition into a guided meditation and pranayama to ready the mind and body for movement.
Solar Energy Vinyasa
A powerful vinyasa practice to invoke the solar or masculine energy. This practice will awaken the body and move any stagnant energy by stimulating the solar plexus chakra, finding harmony and balance, grace and fluidity.
