Take the Lead! - Leadership Coach Training

Take the Lead! Leadership Coach on-demand training is for adults who wish to build youth leadership and promote active play for youth ages 11-14. The online, on-demand training is structured into seven (7) modules and Leadership Coaches come away with the skills and knowledge to facilitate Youth Leader training in their schools and communities moving forward. Registration for the online, on-demand training includes hard-copy Take the Lead! Leadership Coach and Youth Leader manuals.

Upon completion of this training, Leadership Coaches will be able to:

• Understand the benefits of active play and youth leadership development
• Build their toolkit of games and activities that promote inclusion, safety and fun
• Have the knowledge and confidence required to provide fun and energetic Youth Leader training in school or community
• Have the skills and resources to provide support to Youth Leaders in implementing a Take the Lead! program
• Recognize and model leadership characteristics for Take the Lead! Youth Leaders
• Establish a sustainable Take the Lead! program in their school, community or organization
