Join me online from Toronto or the UK for a hands-on, practical cooking experience that helps you slow down, cook real food, and feel genuinely good doing it.

Over four weeks, you’ll build practical kitchen skills, discover new ingredients, and create hearty, satisfying meals that your whole family will enjoy. From rich stews and Middle Eastern-inspired salads to slow-cooked soups and easy make-ahead dinners, each week introduces simple techniques and flavour combinations you can use again and again.

By the end of the course, you’ll feel more confident in your kitchen, have a set of recipes you truly love, and know how to keep your family well-fed, healthy, and inspired all winter long. Perfect for mums who want to eat well, save time, and enjoy cooking again — without stress or overwhelm.

Week 1 – Roots & Warming Flavours

Tuesday, 3rd February 🕚 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM (Toronto) | 🕔 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM (UK)

  • Core Skills: Knife confidence, building depth in flavour
  • Roast root vegetables and make a rich, versatile stew.
  • Cook a Beef Bourguignon or Mushroom Stroganoff, layering flavours from scratch.


Week 2 – Middle Eastern Winter Salad

Tuesday, 10th February 🕚 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM (Toronto) | 🕔 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM (UK)

  • Core Skills: Cooking plant proteins, layering global flavours
  • Turn a salad into a hearty, protein-packed main meal.
  • Roast squash, cook chickpeas, and combine vegetables in a new, flavourful way.
  • Layer with spices, toasted nuts, and dried fruit for Middle Eastern-inspired taste.


Week 3 – Slow-Cooked Winter Soup

  • Core Skills: Making nourishing stocks, flavour layering, batch cooking
  • Make a chicken or vegetable stock from scratch.
  • Cook a slow-cooked winter soup packed with vegetables and protein.
  • Learn batch cooking and storage tips for quick, stress-free meals.


Week 4 – Asian-Style Slaw & Tofu

Tuesday, 24th February

  • Core Skills: Prep-ahead meals, using Asian ingredients, cooking plant proteins
  • Make a vibrant, winter-friendly slaw with simple Asian flavours.
  • Cook tofu to create a plant-based protein option that the whole family enjoys.
  • Learn mix-and-match prep strategies for easy weekday meals.
