The Art of Tea Blending
Overview
Embrace the "art of tea" as you experience selected teas and learn to make tea a part of your healthy diet! This workshop, hosted by Arlene Wilkerson, will explore the origins, health benefits and how to make a perfect cup of tea.
This senior-led workshop provides an introduction into the world of tea including blending principles for function and taste, and a recipe guide to help you connect to your creativity and wellness goals! Experience steeped, cooked, cold brew and long brew tea methods that bring flavour, vitamins and minerals, and nutritional benefits to your day!
Accessibility: Our new space is wheelchair accessible; however, the washrooms are not fully accessible (no grab bars, potentially not wide enough for large wheelchairs). There are two all gender washrooms available. Please contact Victor at outreach@chromanb.ca with your accessibility questions.
This project is funded by the New Horizons for Seniors Program from Employment and Social Development Canada.
