Join artist and author Cathy Key, Ph.D. for an intimate evening celebrating the launch of The Art Sūtras—a limited-edition fine art book exploring the meeting of art, nature and consciousness.

The Art Sūtras by Cathy Key features a collection of her signature, mixed-media portraits accompanied by words of wisdom from poets, philosophers and healers.

Crafted with the care of a gallery piece and printed to the highest archival standards, this signed and numbered edition captures the spirit of Cathy’s artistic journey - a meditation on beauty, presence and the living intelligence of the natural world.

About the Artist

Cathy Key, Ph.D. grew up in England and has lived and worked in Canada for the past twenty years. She draws inspiration from the great naturalists of the 19th century who saw no division between art, science and spirituality.

With a Ph.D. in Anthropology and over 30 years of experience in yoga and ecstatic dance, Cathy uses self-inquiry as the emotional foundation of her work.

Working in mixed media, she combines collage and acrylic to create large intricate portraits. Her award-winning paintings express the joy, vulnerability and wonder of being a conscious participant in the natural world.
