The Bunny Run 2026

Welcome to the 2nd annual Bunny Run! After a thrilling debut in 2025, The Bunny Run is expanding to include a 10k route.

This Easter weekend race is ideal for novice runners or the more competitive runners looking to warm up before a busy summer of competition. Each route is timed but no winner. Everyone who participates receives a medal as this event is designed to celebrate active participation and embrace community spirit.

Date: Saturday April 4, 2026
Time: 11:45am Warm-Up, 12:00pm 10k Start, 12:10pm 5k Start, 12:20pm 2k Start
Location: Robert Simpson Park

Course:

• The 2km race starts on a paved trail followed by sidewalk and roadside running back to the finish line.
• The 5km race starts on a paved trail followed by sidewalk and roadside running, in to the Gillies Grove Nature Trail, back to roadside/sidewalk back to the park at the finish line.
• The 10km route starts on a trail followed by sidewalk and roadside running to the dirt trail and back to roadside/sidewalk to the finish line.

• First-Aid services available at start/finish with the ability to mobilize

Purchase an event t-shirt online prior to the event and save! A limited number of shirts will be available for purchase at the event. When purchasing online you will be prompted to a questionnaire that allows you to choose colour and size.

The Bunny Run is also proud to partner with local businesses. Each registrant will receive a medal and if you visit their establishment on race day, you will receive a certain item or discount. Full details to follow. Participating businesses will be released TBD.
