We are excited to host this lineup, and we had to stack it just right. Sassbot, Jennee Pleeze, and Dave Dirk have all played sold out shows at the Downbeat in the past and are excited to welcome Mood Beach to perform at the Downbeat for the first time.

A veteran of the rave scene, Dave Dirk has been DJ’ing around the west coast for the past two decades, playing everywhere from house and bush parties to underground venues. Most recently ganged up with the Ironic Spin Crew, Dave has been involved in burner community since the early days of Otherworld. Armed with an extensive knowledge of the history of dance music, Dave creates eclectic, genre-defying sets that are sure to get your booty moving!

Drawing inspiration from a wide array of soul-stirring music, she blends deep basslines with vibrant elements of funk, disco, and house. With an ear for infectious rhythms and a natural flair for crafting irresistible grooves, Jennee Pleeze is ready to transform the dance floor into a vibrant, cohesive celebration. Gleaning her sound from a rich tapestry of musical influences, Jennee Pleeze takes her audience on a dynamic musical journey, bringing an eclectic flavour to the stage that invites everyone to connect with the music and move their bones.

Sassbot is an autonomous humanoid machine powered by bass, funk, and whisky, focused on bringing genre-fluid booty-shaking jams to festival dance floors since 2016, rocking Otherworld, Lampress, three sets at last year's Burn in the Forest, Footwork's Summer Social, and more than a few mountaintop parties. Expect energetic house (funky, jackin, bass), infused with brass and/or breaks.

Mood Beach is a dance floor devotee who channels decades of movement into the booth. She shapes house music for any room; laid back, high energy, or late-night and lost-in-it. Depth defines her tracklist from deep house to deep tech offering fellow dancers a steady pulse they can trust.
