Is there handicap parking?

Accepted Answer

Yes. There is special parking right out front of the venue for those with mobility issues.  We will also have golf carts throughout the parking area to assist those who need a little extra help.

Question 2

Are children able to attend this event?

Accepted Answer

Children under the age of 13 are not permitted to attend this event.  This event is specifically to encourage women to get away and enjoy their time with other women.  We do encourage young women and even teenagers to come to the event to be enriched by spending time in a multigenerational event.

Question 3

Are men able to attend this event?

Accepted Answer

There will be men at the event in service roles, but not as attendees.  This event is specifically to build up and encourage women.  We would like to invite any man, husband, son, brother, friend, boss, etc. to be in prayer for the event and the special women in their lives who will be attending.

Question 4

I know there is no charge for this event, but how can I give to help provide for future events?

Accepted Answer

TW-Light Ministries provides services for churches and communities at no cost.  Through generous donations, at events and our webpage (tw-light.org), the ministry is able to keep costs low, so that women of all walks of life are able to be built up and encouraged in their God-given purposes.

Question 5

What food items will be available at the event? Can I bring my own food if necessary?

Accepted Answer

The boxed lunch consists of a wrap/sandwich item, chips, and a fruit dessert.  The meals will all be the same.  If you have special dietary needs, feel free to bring what you may need.  There will be snacks and drinks as well for the rest of the conference.

I have a group of ladies that I would like to attend and sit by, is that possible?

Accepted Answer

Yes.  If you have a group of friends, or a church group, just inform us on the question when you reserve your ticket.  We will be placing people from the same group or church together at tables.  If you don't tell us, we might be able to help with it on that day, but make no promises.

Question 7

How many ladies will be at each table?

Accepted Answer

There will be 100 tables of 10 ladies at each table.  If you have a group of friends, or a church group and would like to reserve tables, you can call the TW-Light Ministry office and talk with Trish (830-257-6043).  We can send you tickets to hand out for your group or keep them at will call.

Question 8

What should I wear?

Accepted Answer

Dress casual and comfortable.  You'll be moving about in the room and sitting at a table with other ladies.  The room should be airconditioned, so a light jacket or sweater might come in handy if you tend to get chilled.  Everyone will be there to have fun and relax, so be comfortable.

Do I need to bring a bible?

Accepted Answer

Please bring your bible.  If you don't have one, we will have bibles at the event and they will be yours to take home if you would like.  All materials for the event will be provided at your seat, so if you would like to bring a bible, please feel free to do so.

Question 10

Who is in charge of this event and who will the speakers be?

Accepted Answer

TW-Light Ministries is hosting this event.  The TW-Light Ministry team will be speaking and leading in all activities. You can find out more @www.tw-light.org. This event is providing those who normally lead and direct in their church or organization a chance to relax and be fed.
