Overview

Become Kin with your local watershed community & draw your designation from the Sorting Hat as Becky shares her vision & the Kinship Way!

Becky Big Canoe is an accomplished Anishinaabe Kwe mother, sustainable housing proponent, writer, artist, activist & powwow dancer. She lives on Georgina Island & involved in the Mno Aki Land Trust. Becky works with the Ecological Farmers Association of Ontario (EFAO) Indigenous Outreach & Engagement Steering Committee to support knowledge sharing & mentorship for Indigenous growers & communities. In July 2025, Becky launched The Kinship Way in Ireland at the Kindred Spirits World Peace Gathering— a circle of hearts, a ceremony of nations, a rising of Kinship. This offering is more than a program…It is a remembering. A weaving of teachings, stories & sacred steps for those ready to walk in relation, restoration, & renewal…join Becky on this journey…
