Event description

Description

McMaster University's Institute for Research on Aging and Institute for Music and the Mind together with the Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra and the Hamilton Public Library are pleased to present a FREE public concert and lecture for Seniors Month.

Delight your senses with the Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra's string quartet while learning how musicians communicate with each other and their audiences through music. McMaster researchers will discuss what can happen when factors such as hearing loss disrupt that musical communication.

Pre-registration is strongly encouraged as space is limited. Seating will be held for those who have registered until 1:50 p.m. on the day of the performance. After that time, seating will be on a first-come first-served basis.
