Will you conduct in-person contestant auditions at the studio?

While final contestant selection will be completed at the studio on the day of filming, you will only be considered to 'Come on Down' if you had completed an online application at www.thepriceisrighttonight.ca. The application link is still live if you'd like to submit for potential future seasons.

Question 2

What if I am ineligible to apply to be a contestant, or just want to come watch the show?

Accepted Answer

You can absolutely come watch a studio taping as an audience member without applying to be a contestant on the show. You will have to either be a guest of a group that has applied, or you will have to join the "rush line" at the check-in desk. Check-ins start daily at 1 PM and 5 PM.

What should I wear?

Accepted Answer

Wear bright, vibrant coloured clothing. Feel free to design custom t-shirts. No apparel with logos of any kind are allowed (besides The Price is Right logo). No sports jerseys or baseball hats with logos. Comfortable footwear is encouraged to be worn. The studio does run cool (dress warm).

Is there a minimum age to attend a taping of The Price is Right Tonight?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Studio audience members must be 10+ years of age to attend a taping. Must be 19+ years of age to apply as a contestant.

Question 5

Is food available? Can I bring food and drinks?

Accepted Answer

Food is not available for purchase. Bring a reusable bottle of water (water fountains available), or small non-messy snacks (no chips, popcorn, or nuts). Food must be consumed outside of the studio. There is also a Boston Pizza in the CBC complex if you'd like to eat or drink there before check-in.

What if I can no longer attend the taping that I registered for?

Please cancel your ticket directly through Eventbrite so that another person may reserve your seat instead.

Question 7

Can I take photos or videos?

Accepted Answer

You may take photos up until you enter the studio. Once inside the studio, we have a strict no phone policy; all phones must be turned off. To protect the integrity of the show, audience members found using their phone inside the studio (in any capacity) will be escorted out of the studio.

What should I expect during the TV show taping?

Get ready for big games, lots of laughs, and fun surprises! Those who have applied to be contestants on the show may be called to "Come on Down!" Everyone will be asked to sign a release form upon arrival, as all audience members have the potential to be shown on-camera.

What if I arrive late?

Accepted Answer

Please arrive at the studio by the "arrive by" time listed on your ticket, as we cannot accommodate late arrivals. Audience members have several stages of check-ins to go through, including a security screening, and these stages will close before filming begins.

Question 10

Can I leave halfway through the taping?

Accepted Answer

No, your entire party must stay for the full duration of the taping session, as the taping occurs in a secured space at the CBC building, and we cannot escort guests out of the studio until the taping has concluded.

Can I watch more than just the one filming session?

Accepted Answer

If you wish to attend multiple filming sessions, you will have to join the "rush line" for tickets at the check-in desk for another taping. Check-ins start at 1 PM and 5 PM every day from Dec 12-17, 2025. You do not have to have applied to be a contestant on the show to join the rush line.

Does a ticket to the show guarantee that I'll be a studio audience member?

Accepted Answer

A ticket to the show does not guarantee your admission to the taping. Due to high cancellation rates, ticket distribution is in excess of studio capacity. On weekends, plan to arrive early to help secure your seats.

Is there accessible seating for audience members in wheelchairs?

Yes, we have accessible seating. We encourage you to contact us with any questions ahead of your taping so we can prepare, but we will accommodate any accessibility needs.

Question 14

Are there any other accessibility issues to consider?

Accepted Answer

Tapings may include (but are not limited to) loud music and sounds, as well as strobe, hydro, lighting and other special effects, including flashing lights, rapidly changing or alternating images, the use of fog, haze or smoke with theatrical stage lighting, laser projections.
