WHAT IS THE SAT MARKET?

Twice a year experience where local businesses and people come together to support each other by buying/selling goods and services for both bitcoin and cash.

I DON'T KNOW MUCH/ANYTHING ABOUT BITCOIN... SHOULD I COME?

Yes! We will have tons of people to help you learn, get your first wallet, and do your first transactions. All you need is a smartphone and a few dollars in cash. Even if you don't buy or use bitcoin at the event, you're welcome to shop at the local merchants with cash!

WHERE IS IT?

The White Diamond Conference Center, Chinatown in Calgary

WHAT IS A SAT?

A Sat is the smallest unit of a Bitcoin - each bitcoin has 100,000,000 sats. Given that bitcoin's value continues to go up, many people now denominate things in sats, and that unit will have increasing relevance as time goes on.

WHY CASH AS WELL?

Because many self sovereign individuals are just Bitcoiners in training! Collectively we can ensure that every vendor there is capable of accepting BTC, but they can also trade it p2p for cash at the end of the event if they like.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

• As an attendee, just show up and learn about/support these passionate local merchants. Learn why they love bitcoin.
