About this event

The Tip of the Iceberg

As Educators we know children are unpredictable. Often displaying a range of different emotions as they develop and understand the world around them.

By re-framing challenging behaviour, we begin to rephrase our thought process by separating the child from the behaviour. By applying a reflective and inquisitive thought process we can re-frame behaviour as communication allowing us to look deeper into the meaning behind it.

During this 2-hour Professional Development session we will look through a reflective lens while exploring fundamental questions around re-framing. We will collaborate as a group to exercise positive ways to re-frame difficult interactions. Together, lets grow our confidence in pursuing a growth mindset when we look at children and their challenges.
