Parkwood Institute Research presents their second n a series of Research Bites. These informative and interactive talks will provide information regarding specific illnesses, their treatments, and the research related to them that's conducted in London, Ontario.

The second Research Bites event will focus on the treatment of depression using convulsive therapy. Dr. Amer Burhan will explain the benefits and risks as well as new research to overcome the cognitive side efffects of the treatment. It will also include a dialogue between Dr. Burhan and a family that went through the experience of electroconvulsion therapy to elicit the experience from the consumer perspective.
