Overview
Three-Part Webinar Series: Re-Imagining Change in Your Organization
In this three-part series, participants will navigate, with the webinar host(s), what an organizational change journey looks like, from understanding the types of change and assessing organizational readiness, to planning and executing change effectively, to communicating and sustaining change for long-term impact.
Grounded in ODEN’s 2025 Re-Imagining Change: A Workbook for Creating, Embracing, and Harnessing Organizational Change, the series will offer practical tools, templates, and strategies relevant to leaders, managers, and service providers across sectors.
This series will be impactful for anyone who works in any human service delivery organization, at all levels of the organization, whether they are the initiators of, or impacted by, the change. This includes:
- Executive Leadership.
- Middle Managers and Supervisors.
- Frontline Employees.
- HR professionals and People & Culture team leaders.
- Others involved in system and program development.
By attending all three sessions, you ensure that you have equipped yourself and your teams with tools to enable change to happen successfully, making a lasting impact within your organization.
Session #1: January 13, 2026. 11:00 am EST
Understanding Change & Assessing Readiness: Foundations for Navigating Organizational Change
We will introduce the core concepts of organizational change, helping participants understand what change is, why it happens, and how to prepare for it. We explore the difference between change and change management, the three types of change (desired, required, compelled), and how these can impact organizational culture, staff engagement, and decision-making at all levels of the organization.
Participants will reflect on their own organizational context and begin identifying the change dynamics they are currently facing.
Session # 2: January 20, 2026. 11:00 am EST
Planning & Enacting Change Effectively: Strategies, Tools & Frameworks to Lead Change with Confidence
We will shift from a state of understanding to one of building and executing a structured plan. Participants will learn the importance of designing a clear change strategy: why articulating a clear vision is important, defining expected outcomes, mapping impacts from the change and identifying stakeholders who will experience the change. We will introduce practical tools from ODEN’s Re-Imagining Change workbook such as logic models, impact assessments, RACI role mapping and more.
The session will emphasize how intentional planning reduces resistance, improves clarity, and increases the likelihood that the change will stick!
Session #3: February 03, 2026. 11:00 am EST
Communicating, Engaging & Sustaining Change: Ensuring Change Takes Root and Becomes the New Normal
The final session will focus on the human side of change: communication, trust-building, resistance management, and sustaining momentum over time. Participants will learn how to communicate clearly during every stage of the change process, how to anticipate and respond to resistance, and how to design follow-through strategies that make new practices last.
The session will also explore how to document lessons learned and reinforce success, ensuring that your organization continues to evolve and improve long after the initial change effort.
