ABOUT THE EVENT

Toronto Fashion Network presents a 2-day model development workshop series in Toronto, designed to help new and developing models build confidence, gain industry knowledge, and create professional content.

This experience combines structured modeling workshops with an open creative studio session, allowing models, photographers, designers, MUAs, and stylists to collaborate, network, and build portfolios in a professional studio environment.

Whether you’re just starting out or looking to refine your skills, this Toronto-based model workshop offers real tools, hands-on training, and direct industry guidance.

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN (WORKSHOPS RUN 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM)

Workshops are delivered in 1.5-hour instructional blocks within the 4:00–8:00 PM window. Please note workshops will take place in a private space within Mild Studios.

Intro to Modeling & Industry Basics

Learn how to build a strong online presence, take proper measurements, create a comp card, apply for castings, and understand how the modeling industry works in Toronto and beyond.

Runway Training & Posing

Develop your runway walk, posture, transitions, turns, and stage confidence. This workshop is ideal for models preparing for fashion shows, runways, and live presentations.

Photoshoot Technique & Creative Posing

Learn how to pose with intention, work your angles, create movement, and stand out during photoshoots. This session focuses on camera confidence, creativity, and expression.

Acting & Commercial Audition Prep

Explore how to apply for acting and commercial opportunities, prepare submissions, understand casting expectations, and improve monologue delivery for self-tapes and auditions.

OPEN CREATIVE SESSION (5:00 PM – 8:00 PM)

The Open Creative Session runs alongside the workshops and follows Toronto Fashion Network’s signature studio content day format.

During this time, participants can:

• Collaborate with photographers and creatives
• Shoot professional photos and video content
• Create reels, BTS footage, and portfolio material
• Network with industry professionals in Toronto’s creative scene

This session is open to models, photographers, designers, MUAs, stylists, and content creators.
