Tranquility in a Teacup

Join Tea Sommelier Steven Hughes for this 2-hour event that builds community by introducing individuals from all walks-of-life to experience the joy, health benefits, diversity, and tranquility of Tea Culture.

This program will introduce you to a brief history of tea and the current Tea Culture scene. You will have the opportunity to sample the five main families of tea – white, green, oolong, black and pu-erh. Participants will also learn how to make the “perfect cup” of tea – a beverage that will support moments of peace, relaxation, and tranquility. Each participant with a partner will prepare and serve a tea for the group.
