We are delighted to invite you to Turkish Cinema Week in Toronto!!

Experience diverse stories from across Türkiye from heartfelt tales of love and transformation to light-hearted comedies and family adventures. This special week brings together a vibrant mix of award-winning dramas, comedies, and animations, reflecting the rich and diverse world of Turkish cinema.

🎟️ Tickets: Feature films: $10

• Children’s movies : $10 (includes 2 tickets — one for the child and one for the caregiver)

  • Tickets are for general admission. Seating is guaranteed but specific seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Tickets are refundable only before December 10, 2025.
  • Children's movies are recommended for children aged 6+
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult (parent, elder sibling or caregiver).
  • Ticket price of children movies are for 2 tickets.

✨ Feature films will be screened in Turkish with English subtitles.

Synopsis:
Sadık, a lonely man in his 60s, lives in an Istanbul neighborhood undergoing rapid urban change. His quiet life is disrupted when new neighbors move in — Lale and her daughter Defne. Though resistant at first, Sadık gradually allows love back into his life, facing old regrets and learning that freedom sometimes means letting go of the past.
