Unfolding the Petals: A Slow Burn Workshop

Join us for a Slow Burn Burlesque workshop designed to help performers develop confident, intentional movement and strong stage presence. This session focuses on pacing, musicality, expression, and creating a compelling, slow-burning performance style in a supportive and beginner-friendly environment. With 23 spots available, this workshop is ideal for anyone looking to deepen their performance skills or explore burlesque for the first time. Secure your spot and discover how to command the stage with a steady, powerful presence.

The workshop will take place at Miles Zero Dance Society, located at 9931 78 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T6E 1N6. We’ll be gathering on March 21, 2026, from 1:00 pm to around 2:30 pm. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early to get settled and sign in. All participants must register in advance, and attendance is capped at 23 people to ensure a focused and supportive environment.

Please note the accessibility features of the studio space. The main floor has a clear path from the front entrance, and two accessible washrooms are available on this level. However, the front door is not automated, the sidewalk outside may be uneven, and the upstairs studio can only be accessed by stairs, though we regret to inform it is not wheelchair accessible. We share this information so guests with accessibility needs can plan comfortably.
