Event description

Description

The University of St. Michael’s College is happy to announce the visit of His Eminence Cardinal Robert Sarah, Prefect of the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments, to campus for a public lecture on March 12, 2018.

Cardinal Sarah is the author of such books as God or Nothing and, more recently, The Power of Silence.

Join us at 7:00 p.m. for Vespers, followed by the lecture given by Cardinal Sarah on the "Christian Life."

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and tickets will be required for entry to the Cathedral Basilica.

Because the demand for tickets far exceeds the seating capacity of St. Basil’s Church, the University has shifted the venue for the public lecture to St. Michael’s Cathedral Basilica, thanks to the generosity of the Archdiocese of Toronto. This will allow for more than twice as many people to attend Cardinal Sarah’s lecture and take part in evening vespers.

Parking is limited on site and attendees are encouraged to use public transit to travel to and from the event.
