Overview

Have you ever wanted to do something but just didn't want to go alone? Join our Women's Activity Group as we explore the AGNS together!

Wander and (quietly) Gab: Art Gallery of Nova Scotia (free admission Thursday)

Join us for a relaxed outing to stroll through the Nova Scotia Art Gallery, take in some art, and enjoy easy conversation along the way. The main purpose of this group is connection - you don't have to make art or even know a thing about it! It’s a simple, feel-good way to connect with other women and spend time together in a casual, low-pressure space.

The Women's Activity Group is a passion project of Lesley (she/her), HMC's Wellness and Recovery Coordinator. She wanted to see create something where women could connect over topics and through events, and also, so that they didn't have to go alone. Many of us are interested in doing things but the idea of doing it alone makes it feel scary. Maybe you need accountability to have an evening out, or just need someone there to help lessen your anxiety; whatever the reason, we're there!

All Healthy Minds Cooperative events are scent-free (even if we're out somewhere else). Please consider the health of others, do not wear perfume, body spray or scented lotions.

Check out what exhibits are on now and learn more about visiting the Gallery.

If you have any questions, concerns, or accessibility needs, please email Lesley: wellness@healthyminds.ca
