The 63rd Annual Meeting of the Western Division of the Canadian Association of Geographers (WDCAG) will be hosted by the Department of Geography and Environment at the University of Lethbridge (U of L) on March 5-6, 2021. Geographers from all fields of geography and related disciplines are invited to attend remotely.

Registration will be FREE through Eventbrite. Purchasing a free ticket will unlock the online event page where you will be able to access additional information and links to the conference events and activities.

We invite submissions from all areas of geographic scholarship to WDCAG 2021, themed Beyond 2020: Geographical Research During Crises. 2020's global pandemic, political unrest, social movements, climate change, and economic downturns have forced us to rethink the world we live in. Geographers have engaged with these opportunities and challenges before. What does moving beyond 2020 mean for geographical research?

Proposals for Special Sessions should be directed to wdcag2021@uleth.ca - Special Session call closes December 18th, 2020. Abstracts will be accepted through an online form that will be available on our Eventbrite page soon.
