Weekly French Chit-Chat: Practice, Connect & Explore Culture

Join us for a relaxed and friendly series of French Chit-Chat sessions where participants can build confidence, practice conversation, and connect with Francophones and Francophiles in Newfoundland & Labrador.

What to Expect

Each session offers an informal, welcoming space to explore French language and culture. Activities include:

• Simple conversations to practice everyday French
• Short readings from French books to expand vocabulary and comprehension
• Engaging discussions on French history and Francophone cultures around the world
• Opportunities to meet new people and share experiences in a supportive community

Led by both newcomers and local French speakers, these sessions are open to all levels of learners.

Location: 7 Ricketts Road, St. John’s

⏰ Time: 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM

Dates: Every Monday starting from Jan 12th - Jun 29th, 2026)
