Facilitator Bio:
Born and raised in the Dominican Republic, Laura has called Miami, FL home for twenty years. She is an all-around human connector, helping people find well-being, fertility, and positive change.
At 41, and after two decades living and working in the United States, she belongs and talks to the largest generation of adults in the country's workforce, which gives her firsthand knowledge of their needs as professionals and, above all, as human beings. She is also a natural fertility success story against great odds, who you can often find sharing her fertility journey and tips as a message of hope.
Laura Sgroi is a trilingual and bicultural public speaker, certified coach by the University of Miami, producer/host of video podcast “En Los Ta” and author of In Our Thirties. She works with individuals and organizations in the United States, Canada, Latin America, and Europe and has led workshops for Microsoft, Mastercard, Chubb, Sony Music Entertainment, NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises, Vital Voices Miami, among other organizations.
Prior to coaching, she enjoyed a twenty+ year international career in live events, television production, and corporate communications. Her credits include Guns N’ Roses, Santana, Ricky Martin, Viacom, Univision, Sony Music, Billboard, and the National Association of Television Program Executives (NAPTE). Her writing has been published in Glamour Mexico, Glamour Latin America, and Motherly, as well as on her website and blog.
Laura holds an MA in Corporate Communications and Public Relations from Universitat de Barcelona, a BA in Marketing from Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo, and a Professional Coach Certificate from the University of Miami.
