About "Radical Farm"
Abey Scaglione is a farmer at Ruckle Heritage Farm on Salt Spring Island. Her new book Radical Farm: Animals, Food and Our Future details why well-sourced animal foods are a vital part of our food system. The book is also a homesteading guide that will inspire people to reconnect with their food, with recipes and information on raising animals, growing a garden, preserving and cheesemaking.
Abey will have copies available that day, or we welcome you to pick up a copy beforehand so you can share your thoughts on what you read. Radical Farm is available online and at bookstores, including Indigo/Chapters throughout the lower mainland.
