What you need to know about tax

This interactive workshop helps newcomers and early-stage entrepreneurs understand how the Canadian tax system works and build smart, practical tax habits. Participants will learn what taxes they are required to pay and how to pay them, how to reduce taxes legally while accessing benefits today and in the future, and how to file a tax return and understand what happens after it is submitted.

The session will be led by a CPA volunteer and will feature a guided presentation, interactive activities, and practical handouts and worksheets.
