When people think of Old World wines, countries like France, Italy, and Greece often come to mind. However, countries in North Africa from Morocco stretching to Libya have just as long (and for some areas, longer) histories than even some well-known European countries! For various reasons, though, there have been some ebbs and flows in availability of the wines from North Africa.
