Winter Solstice - Sound Bath & Ceremony

The Winter Solstice Sound Bath and Ceremony will take place in beautiful studio in Gastown. The session will last approximately 90 minutes and be followed by a sharing circle.

The Winter Solstice marks the shortest day and longest night of the year. It is the moment when the Sun reaches its lowest point in the sky, and also the exact turning point when the light begins to return. Across cultures and traditions, this time has been honored as a sacred pause. A moment of stillness, reflection, and quiet rebirth.

Winter carries the energy of going inward. The darkness invites rest, honesty, and deep listening. Rather than something to resist, this fertile darkness becomes the ground from which clarity, creativity, and new intentions can emerge. The Solstice reminds us that even at the deepest point of night, light is already on its way back.

This evening is an invitation to slow down and consciously mark that transition.

We will gather in ceremony to honor endings from the year behind us and create space for what is ready to be born in the months ahead. The experience will include grounding, guided reflection, a simple release ritual, and an extended sound bath using crystal singing bowls and voice to support deep nervous system regulation and inward connection.

Sound will carry you into stillness, helping you soften, release stored tension, and rest in the quiet intelligence of the body and the season. There is no pressure to set goals or take action. This is a time to rest, listen, and allow insight to rise naturally.

The Winter Solstice is a reminder that your inner light never disappears, even in darkness. This ceremony is an opportunity to reconnect with that truth, in community, as we cross the threshold into a new solar cycle.
