Winter Sweets
Overview
Come cozy up with us on a cold winter's eve for sweet music and special treats.
We feature our own Mark Whale and Erick Oliver Wawrzkiewicz playing the "Bach double" violin concerto and a selection of other tasty orchestral works, including a special 'tasting symphony'!
To experience "Symphonic Chocolates" as the composer intended, bring $5 for four chocolates to savour - caramel, dark, mint, mocha - during each movement.
Our popular traditions continue:
- a rousing sing-along
- fun audience-sourced 'Maestro for a Moment' guest conductor and 'Crack the whip' guest percussionist
- raffle of gift baskets our musicians have filled for you
Plus, the Silent Auction returns -
now with a curated arts-and-culture theme offering original art and experiences from the Royal Ontario Museum, Toronto Symphony Orchestra, Stratford Festival, Mervish and more.
NOTE: If a full Friday evening in a large venue is not for you, consider our shorter encore Sunday matinee at the Humber Cultural Hub Recital Hall.
