How is the workshop being held?

This event will be held by Zoom. Log in to EventBrite and go to the event page. The Zoom link will be activated at 8:30 am on November 30. Please ensure that you have a reliable internet connection.

Will there be breaks?

Yes. There will be 5-minute breaks at 10:00 am and 11:00 am.

Can I ask questions during the workshop?

The presenter will take questions at appropriate intervals. Keep questions on topic and general so that all participants can benefit. The presenter will stay on after 12:00 pm to answer additional questions. Participants may also communicate with one another via chat.

What materials are included?

Digital files will be emailed to registrants 2 days before the workshop including: workshop slides, New to Council publication, The Strata Property Act, Regulation, Standard Bylaws, common forms, strata records retention guide, privacy policy template, council member code of conduct.

If I cancel will I get a refund?

Request a refund in Eventbrite or send an email to workshops@visoa.bc.ca. Receive a full refund when you cancel with at least 7 calendar days notice. With 3-6 calendar days notice, you'll receive a refund less a $10 administration fee. There is no refund for less than 3 days notice or no notice.
